What's the one thing that you can't have when your a world famous rock star? All
that fame, fortune, and the women. Whew, every man's dream. Right? Well every
heterosexual man that is. Sawyer Knight is all of the above except he's not
really happy. He has spent countless nights with women to bury who he believes
he is. People won't understand, not in his world anyway.
When the best friend from his childhood shows up to show him who he really is,
can he face it? Jake has loved Sawyer since there were teenagers, been friends
with him longer than that. Since Jake kissed Sawyer when they were seventeen and
Sawyer rejected him, Jake has been pinning for him since. Can he make Sawyer see
who he really is and get passed his insecurities of "coming out" or will Sawyer
reject Jake once again?
WOW!!!! This book was smokin and I don't just mean the men in it.Loved this book
and gave it a solid 5 stars. Holy hell, Sawyer and Jake are both epitome of
hotness, add rock star into that mix and life as a gay man just became my dream.
Okay well not really I could understand how Sawyer was feeling as far as being a
gay rock star. Who would really understand, Right? Wrong I loved that Jake was
strong enough to stand by his side as the war raged on in Sawyers head but was
able to kick his ass when he needed it.
If you have never read a M/M book before it can be shocking but for an old
reviewer like me it was just hot. The writing was solid, the story flowed. There
were a couple times that I wanted to hit Jake because he seemed to trying to
overcompensate for Sawyer being uncomfortable. He was sometimes a little mushy
but all in all it was a fantastic book. I look forward to Ry's story. Who's Ry
you ask? Well I guess you'll have to read it to find out.
