Sophie, or Elise Carlise can't seem to find her mojo after her ex did a number on her. When her best friend has had enough, she drags her to a new dance club. She doesn't want to be herself because that self is moping, so she becomes someone else. That someone catches the attention of sexy-as-sin club owner Troy. A few drinks, a couple of dances, Sophie may have just found herself the "one", but when she freaks out, Troy decides she just may not be what he wants after all. Can they figure out how to dance together or will Sophie's personality get in the way.
In all honesty...
I adored this book. When I was asked to review this I didn't realize that it was so short and am very disappointed. I was really getting into the characters. Sophie was a bit dramatic but not necessarily in a unheard of way. She was beating herself up and she pushed that on Troy. Oh swoon worthy, hot as hell Troy. What more could a woman want but a sexy, sweet, generous dancer that takes care of her.
I give this a solid 5 and I won't even count off anything for the length. Although again, I wish it would have been a full length because I think these characters were definitely worth getting to know better. Writing was smooth, no editing errors that I saw and the storyline was excellent. Great job to Kelly Collins. I look forward to reading more from her.
