Tijan started writing later in life, after she had already graduated college with a different direction in mind and a different degree under her belt. and it is book one in A Whole New Crowd. 

A broken girl finds herself in foster home after foster home. The only family she finds is two brothers from the wrong side of the law. But then again she is the same way. A twist of fate and she ends up going to a family that is kind and rich! Her life is changed overnight. She tries to do better, but she is so close to what she left behind. Just one town over. Can she put all that she has done in the past. Can she move forward and forget the people that were family to her when no one else was? 

This book was fantastic and full of twists and turns and **GASPS** I loved this girl, strong heroine, determined to get her life right. But just as determined for answers too!!! 

The men in her life are very swoon worthy. She finally is getting the life she has always deserved. If she can get past all the things going wrong. I can't give you anymore .. Just the fact that you need to read this book.. Also, make sure to put aside a big chunk of time you won't want to put it down once you start it. Tijan is a phenomenal writer who captivates you from the very beginning of her books right up until the very end. If you enjoy this book make sure to check out the rest of her work!
