I love all of MJ Fields books! She is a rock star. So when this book was released of course I had to read it. I was not disappointed. I have to say that MJ has gotten better in her quest as an Author, she is a firecracker waiting to explode. This by far is my favorite of ALL her novels. I just really connected with these two characters.
I laughed, I cried and then I swooned! Memphis is a bad @ss, and Tales is perfect for him. What I think I loved the most is how down to earth she was, not over the top. Just Tales. She doesn't have anything that stands out and makes you go wow because she is just who she is and that is exactly what Memphis needs. She would be the girl you would look at for a rock star and go WHY? HE knows why, everybody else doesn't need to know.
Honestly I am not one for butterflies or fuzzy warm feelings when it comes to books, very few authors can get me to the point where I am on the edge of my seat and wanting more and fast!!! Like I said there are a few that can get me to that point BUT not very many.. MJ did it ! This book gave me butterflies and the warm and fuzzies! I was wanting more and I kept looking to see how far I was in the book because I didn't want it to end. Another perfect romantic, hot as sin book from MJ and I am so glad I DID NOT miss it!!! I can't wait to read the next book in the series! I am hoping that he can top Memphis because right now that is going to be a very hard thing to do!!
