It wasn’t because I nervous or having second thoughts. It was pure excitement. I couldn’t wait to see Lexi walking towards me wearing her dream wedding dress. It was insane how damn much I loved her. There wasn’t anything I wouldn’t do for her. “You got your speech ready?” Radley whispered over my shoulder. “It isn’t a speech dumbass, they’re my vows,” I whispered back. “I got it all up in here. No one knows, so keep it quiet. I never told Lexi to prepare anything.” Radley laughed. “She’s gonna be pissed that you didn’t let her know dude. She’s gonna feel unprepared.” That thought had crossed my mind when I decided to prepare my own vows without telling her. I just hoped that she would understand I needed to say my own words. I didn’t want to repeat the general vows that were spoken by millions every day. I wanted her to have my words in her mind when she thought back, remembering our wedding. I took my place at the front while my groomsmen and best man took their place alongside me. My mom was the first to enter, walking toward me. Once she reached me she kissed my cheek. This is book two in the Desired Affliction Series They do need to be read in order This is a continuing story of Lexi and Kole. This story takes off where book one left off, and you follow Lexi and Kole as they are still continuing to learn from the mistakes that they make. You're going to fall even more in love with this beautiful couple! Kole is an amazing man who is so in love with Lexi and tries to show her anyway that he can that he will be there for her not matter what. He is a little damaged too and makes mistakes that he seems to be forever making up for. Lexi loves Kole but after all she has been through it is so hard to put down her guard and just let him love her. Can they finally get it right ? This was a beautifully written and told story. I was captured in the world of pain and love. Things don't always go the way you expect but when you have someone who loves you the way these two love each other then anything is a possibility. All the characters in this book were worth learning more about. Not just Lexi and Kole. Follow this journey as Lexi learns to love and let herself be loved. When she finally finds where she belongs and feels safe living her life. Thank you C.A. Harms for another wonderfully written book! I love your writing!! <3
